I saw your icon and laughed/cried. I had that as an icon years ago right after it was published. It was part of the reason I decided I needed to go see CD cons in person. When I was told that Nagase gave Ko-chan a hug and a kiss in 2001 for his Birthday at CD, but it didn't make it to the televised version, I made my stand. And thus, this is my 6th year of going to Tokyo to see KK and CD cons. I was determined to not miss any of the NxK action!

Oh, and as to TOKIO in the mags, they did used to be all over the place, but as newer, more idol-y groups come long, they have to start filtering them out. So the older groups stop showing up at the front of the mags, and move further back, until they're in the back section. And then they oftne start to show up only every other month, or just in essays or other small snippets, no new photo spreads. I've been watching my beloved KK fall farther from the front of the mags (although they still manage to move up a bit when it's time for an album release and get some cover stories, too) and my friend and I are just waiting to see what happens aftet this 10th year ani. As it is, there's no calendar either (although as an older group, SMAP does release one through their fan club) so I'm just bracing myself for KK to fade out next year from the mags. T__T;;

Huh, really? I always see Kinki get tons of scans at boys_paper. (Though of course I have nothing to compare to from previous years.) Maybe it's just that Kinki fans are devoted enough to scan everything? Nowadays we only get a sympathetic Nagase fan here and there. And once I saw Leader in a V6 zip. *dies*

a;fkldjsfkldf THEY DID THAT AT COUNTDOWN TOO. The Nagase/Koichi fanservice was cut off. Japan is really a bitch. XD
