Apparently, the Library of Congress is exhibiting 70 rare color photographs from the Depression

America In Color

I'm definately going to go check them out while I'm there for MAL, but all of the photos the Library has, black and white AND color, are viewable on their website: http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/fsowhome.html

One series on city-views, in particular, is thought provoking about what was then and what is now. There are a couple of a city views of Detroit that make you wonder: Detroit looks so much better then, during the depression, than it does now. (I increased the levels of the online image a little 'cause it looked a little dark on my PC at work.)
