i walked today
i have been on my back for a week now. sunday i was rushed to urgent care, went through tests, given some fabulous drug that starts withs a d, another shot of ibuprofen and sent to ER...where i was given something else for pain, another pelvic exam, blood test, ...ultrasound...when they ruled out possibility of torsion...(which means your ovary is twisted), i was given two vicodin and told to come back if pain worsens. Ryan was with me the entire time. we got to thehospital at 5pm and left at 1:30 in hte morning.
when i got home he stayed the night and mnday morning...it was an amazing blessing...people from pcpa, started showing up in one to two hour shifts to watch me. They helped me take medicine, walk to th bathroom, get dressed, washed bloody sheets and clothes...brushed my hair, my teeth...you name it.
Monday night, toby stayed in my bed, and efren and dylan crashed on my floor. tuesday night after a mix of vicodin and soem herbal remedy thatnks to mikey p and george i crashed with efren here. wednesday morning i woke up nad chris martinez was there. wednesday continues with one person after another. wednesday nighti was feeling a bit better. i was almost able to sit up by myself. wednesday night ryan came over. i went to bed...and the next thing i know there is an ambulance coming, i can't see clearly, my head is hurting fifty times more than my abdomen, and i can't breathe. i get put on a gurny and they inser an iv in my left arm...toby's in front with the driver and ryan is following...my dad and brother are driving down.
we get to the hospital and they do a series of tests give me some morphine and tell me i have all hte symptoms of menongitis ...and the need to do a spinal tap to determine it. i get the spinal tap which is an incredibly painful procedure if you don't know anything about it...you should look it up.
i get sent home...ryan and toby stay...my dad and milin comes....i slept through last night without having to go back. today i went and got acupucture for the first time and a new set of herbal medications.
i am more clear headed than i have been in a week. i can sit up and walk soemwhat.
