i've officially got one year till' graduation!
i slept in today! it is 11am....yes! Graduation was yesterday. It was powerful, emotional, and fun. Afterwards, we all went out for sushi. Daniel formally announced he will not be coming back. He wants to pursue theatre through another avenue. it is like losing a member of our family. But, we all understand and wish him the best.
While out to sushi, we began saki bombs...oh yes...good old sapporo. Two gentlemen came up to our table and began conversation. They were airforce boys positioned here in Lompoc. They bought us some saki and we invited them to come to Pirate's Cove.
After dinner, we all changed for the beach and headed out. Pirate's Cove was amazing. It is actually up high on the rocks...it's more like a big cave, high on a cliff, with an enormous opening. The view was unbelievable. The moon was full and we were so high, it was as if we were level with sparkling stars against the midnight blue sky. After a while we drove down to Avila Beach and hung out on some blankets, drinking some wine and listening to music. It was amazing!
Adam (one of the airforce boys) and i slow danced on the beach when Sade came on. It was beautiful and fun. After we danced he tried to teach me how to a handstand and i got a mouthful of sand. Go figure!
He asked if he could teach me how to body surf this coming weekend. I said if i wasn;t up in the bay...that it sounded like fun. It has been a long time since i've had an unexpected evening such as this.
It was great to celebrate with friends and meet some new people. WE all got our invitations back for next years. i'm officially a second year!One more year until graduation.

I'm so excited to start working on olivia. And, i can't wait to work on new monologues and songs! First rehearsal is tomorrow. I need to start packing for my move into my new house. I'm actually sitting on ryan's computer in the house i will be living in about a week. Efren and i are going to share the master over summer and then i'm going to keep the master for myself all during next year. It should be fun....i've always wanted a gay roommate. Efren is so sweet, fun, and we're going to have so much fun looking at surfer boys on our days off!
Well> i should probably get home and start being productive. My one day of summer is today...aahhhhh....maybe the beach sounds good again this evening.
Well> i miss everyone back at home dearly. If there is a way i can be home this weekend i will....but otherwise...make beautiful art and be true!
