[ Phone to Negi and Yuna ]

Look, just because I've spent every day here sleeping doesn't mean that I'm not bored out of my mind.

I wouldn't object to somebody coming over for tea and conversation. It would help spare me the dramatics in this "family." I haven't met such an annoying bunch since we were class 1-A. And I don't think I have the patience in me to learn to tolerate their presence.

Or perhaps there's something interesting to do outside? [ She almost sounds like she's considering that, but then almost immediately- ] No. This place is even more boring than Mahora. And I didn't even believe that was possible.

[ 837 Hastings Blvd. ]

[ A little after that phone call, Evangeline walks out from the kitchen. There's some humming and the smell of (more) freshly baked cookies coming from within: the "mother" of the house is at it again, and this time she was trying to get her daughter in on it, too.

Well, like she's going to bake cookies. Sheesh. (Sheesh count: 1.)

Instead, she marches over to the living room where Mihawk and Nunnally no doubt are hanging out, crosses her arms, and looks solemn. ]

All right, I've had it with this mother's complaining. You [ pointed look at Nunnally ] are going to actually sleep upstairs from now on. She won't stop complaining to me about how you blatantly refuse to use your bedroom, and quite frankly, it's wearing thin my very last nerve.

Do you have any problems with that? [ A rather pointed glare suggests that, no, she'd better not. ]
