Brain needs to work
Seriously hoards of writers block that I still haven't been able to break out of for the last what... three months going on? Haven't been able to even roleplay on the forums so I don't know what the hell is going on with this brain of mine. Yet of course, that doesn't help that I have ideas, yet can't seem to coherently formulate them into something at least somewhat tangible. Wanna break out of this rut but not quite sure how.
I have one script idea. Involves guns, cops, east meets west action crazy stunts, without going overboard and totally unrealistic. That's all I can say about it now. Have a couple of doodles in the journal of character sheets, but yet, going to actually write anything near a layout is like trying to pull teeth. Doesn't want to budge.
Had another idea that spawned a Letty fic that follows her after she is assumed dead by her friends, but is not. Got three quarters of a chapter, and then lost the muse. Putting it on the back burner until further notice, prolly will pick it up again in a few weeks when the smoke settles.
And the last is still in the works, in the stetchy stage. Blame me being stuck only watching Buffy on the laptop all week cause I didn't have a tv, but it's another Letty fic... this time involving vampires, which is either going to be a one-shot or miniseries. Not sure yet. I was browsing Tthfanfic.com after reading awesome Slayer!Letty fics on livejournal, or rather escritoireazul 's coupla fics on the subject. I was hoping that i might find more people writing fics where Letty's a character... Despite being a relatively short list I found myself being irratibly disgusted with the fact that Letty isn't in any of them, or written off as a bitch, or Dom's paired off into slash. I'm sorry, could never seen Buffy/Dom hooking, or Xander/Dom. Buffy could never handle a guy like Dom, who needs a chick that's rough around the edges.. possibly Faith, however, but even then, eh, can't seem to see Dom getting with another chick no matter the crossovers. And Dom with Xander? As much as I love Xander, Dom would punch his teeth down his throat for talking too much in a heartbeat.
So what exactly will this entail? Letty slayerness. Because honestly... C'mon? No more Faith/Letty slayage stories floating on the biggest buffy fanfic site ever? No Letty kicking some ass, not only with gears, but with stakes too? Don't know how it'll turn out though, if it will at all. But we'll see. Not like I got anything else to do at the moment.
