My Sweet Farewells ---

Mar 06, 2005 22:40

I am offically moving to jolly_oddness.

If you wish to friend me, do so right away! It will all continue as usual, only under a different name. To wrap it all up, I have this here fragment, which is actually no fragment at all, but my first post in it's entirety:

I wonder what does it become of our ancient journals, in some years :)

Indeedly, yes. At least, I am expecting people to remove it.

I'm not ever going to delete the journal, I'm far too nostalgic about it.

I was resigned to a feeling of great personal inadequacy which caused me to feel unimportant and undeserving of capitals, thus I refused to acknowledge my ego and capitalise all those Is.

you know, that's actually the reason that i don't capitalize anything. i started off just not capitalizing i's and my name, but pretty soon it spread to all of the other letters because i liked the way it looked. i don't feel that way anymore, but it seems to have stuck...

I didn't capitalise for a very very long time....Eventually I decided that humanity as a whole was too adoring of capitalising proper nouns, and I pretty much stopped capitalising altogether. It does look neater, when it's all in lower case. But eventually I went back, I'm not sure if it was because I was suddenly typing up so many documents and had to capitalise everything, or because Livejournal has turned me into a paranoid writer who must try to have perfect grammar. Either way, here I am back to my capitalising ways. I sort of miss lower case.

Hurrah! I'm glad you like the name. It took me possibly a year to decide upon a new one.
