Asylum Europe 2 - Con Report - Part 1
so... umm... I apologise for being so late? XD
I don't have pictures from any of the panels, because BOTH of my cameras were shit and srsly, I was so sad! Until I realized that I actually could concentrate on what's been said now LOL
SO most of this report will be my adventures and experiences around the panels and since I got only very few pictures it will be a lot to read... I'm sorry XD
My convention weekend kinda started early already with valentineskid flying over on wednesday from england to stay with me for the next two weeks :D
Those two days were full of Misha flailing and perving and without any sleep LOL So when we went Friday morning at 9 AM to get uliamos from her place, I was already working on adrenaline. I already knew that the weekend will be daaaaamn long XD
It was a fun drive. We listened to rock music, the weather was awesome and we felt like Sam and Dean on the road with an angel in the backseat (not that uliamos is an angel, but we pretend for a while XD)
We parked our car near the hotel and then walked back. We took a quick stroll through the hotel to explore the venue. We met Doug and I gave him a proper hug - so happy he was there :) We found the rooms for the photo ops, coffee loughes and autographs and took a look through the merchandise they put up at that time.
Then we occupied the plush couches and arm chairs in the lobby and waited for everyone to arrive, while tweeting and watching twitter for news. I was completely oblivious to the sheer amount of people I got to know through AE1 and A5 and on twitter - well until I got tackle hugged every five minutes or saw someone I knew. After a while I thought that this is getting ridiculous LOL srsly, so many people who recognized me (even though I not always knew who they were and they had to tell me their twitter name - I apologise if I offended someone because of that!) Then I saw uliamos and for once I was the one doing the tackling :D She then abducted me to help her with getting her stuff from her car to her hotel room XD
The best part was meeting all the Nurplettes again! Exactly one year after we found us at AE1 we finally got to meet us all again :D Lots of hugs and laughs and pictures already taken :D I love you all so much sijay insane_songbird mangacat201 red_margret frozenglibber maryzaa atteamfreewill

And then all of the sudden we could register! I was totally flabbergasted because it's the first time ever Rogue Events were EARLY XD It went smooth and without queueing for very long :D
Afterwards we stayed in the hotel for a while and later decided to finally get the car and our stuff to move into our hotel which is a few minutes away from the con hotel. It was easy enough to find - but there was the major issue of finding a parking spot for the time we moved in... I was scared LOL I haven't done this in an eternity always having the luxury of a huge parking place where I go XD I actually managed to park my car without demolating anything around me and without blocking half the road afterwards XD I was sweating blood *hides*
While I got the room uliamosuliamos got our stuff, which was a LOT... XD We smuggled uliamos into our room and were happy to discover 4 beds even though we only booked for 2 ppl, so she didn't nee her sleeping bag after all LOL
By that time I was already pretty exhausted. The loss of sleep all week and the long drive in the morning took their toll on me. I knew I wouldn't make it very long that night. By the time the party came around I was half dead. So while uliamos was off to get Jared and Richard from the train station (yes, you read correctly - if you want to know the details pester her to finally write her report XD) the rest of us was sitting on the floor waiting for the party to begin. We had a good view into the bar one floor below us, so we were one of the first ppl seeing Mark Sheppard and I think it was Fred in the bar :)
Soon after I couldn't hold out any longer and went back to our hotel, leaving everyone else to the party :)
Unfortunately I couldn't sleep and so it was another sleepless night in a row of sleepless nights XD
