mega post with the loves of my life XD
okay - I should be writing my reports for uni so I thought I'd finally make that post with my cats like I promised uliamos a few days ago XD

okay, so, where to start?
maybe with my alltime favorite - my heart - my love - my little cat Schnu.
maybe not so little, but whatever XD
Her name is actually the result of hundreds of changing nicknames - one crazier than the other until it finally ended at Schnu, which isn't actually a name or even a word, but I liked the sound of it and everyone called her that :)
She came to my family in 1992 - I was 8 years old and I loved her from the first day. I grew up all the way with her, carried her around,
let her sleep in my bed and cuddled for hours with her.
It was so hard when I went to university with 18 and couldn't see her every day anymore. All the more happy I was when I came back home and she was the first to greet me - or better when she sat in the way and I couldn't get my car into the garage LOL Whenever I was home she followed me around 24/7. As soon as I sat down anywhere she was on my lap and I couldn't get rid of her until I had to put her to the ground because my ass was hurting XD
Isn't she the cutest thing ever?
When not following me around she loved sitting at high places in the garden so she wouldn't miss anything.
She loved sleeping on my laptop and she loved sitting on the puzzles I was still working on. Truth to be told, she could be very annoying in her clingy attitude, and I loved her even more for it.
Nobody understood her as I did and she never showed the others as much love as she showed me.
She died at Christmas Eve 2008.
It came so suddenly. One day she was okay, the next day she limped and 3 days later she couldn't even walk anymore. We brought her to the vet. He sad someone might have hit her, or she was hit by a car, but she had an injury at her spine. He made us hope that sometimes even such heavy injuries can heal with cats, but the next day she started cramping all over. It was the most horrible thing I had to see in my whole life. We brought her back to the vet and he laid her to sleep. I cried the whole time. I have never cried so much in my life. We buried her in our garden. She was wrapped into our favorite sweater.
I will never forget her. I will always love her and miss her.

met Schnu's lovely brother Chef (and in Germany that means Boss - not cook XD)
wasn't he a beauty?
Schnu and Chef were litter mates, but Chef grew up at my grandma's place. He only came to us when she was too ill to take care of him. The place he grew up was in the middle of our small town, so when he came to us he's all but forgotten what a garden is. He was SO scared when he put him outside the first time. Couldn't remember grass, trees and bushes. It was so CUTE! XD He got used to his new freedom very fast ;D He was our big teddy bear - always ready to get carried around for hours. There is barely one pic of him where he doesn't sleep or is on someone's arm :D
He died this January after a long illness. He was very unlucky in his life concerning his health. He got every illness you can think of and even one normally only dogs get, causing him to be allergic to his own teeth. He got poisened which he barely survived. He got locked away and came back with a broken tail. In the end we had to put him to sleep because his kidney gave up and he had diabetes in addition. He's with his sister now.
Now off to the other members of my little family XD
the first one that appeared in our garden was Mrs. Wusel. She was there - one day - totally shy and nervous and soo small! I think she got a weird race somewhere in her genes, because she's with us for a few years now and she didn't grew at all LOL
and she's so damn cute XD
but she can be a little devil as well >:)
next is our big boy called Diego. He did a real odyssey through our little town - appearing here and there in the gardens and houses. Well, until he came to us. He decided to stay XD
he's a real lion - sizewise XD
and yet he loves to hide in small places XD
This early summer we got a new guest... Merlin. He appeared in my mother's shop one day. He's very much blind. He can see light and shadow and movement directly in front of his eyes, but that's about it. he got realy creepy blue eyeballs without any white left. He's a little dominant bastard and Diego doesn't like him very much. I hope they'll get around. Hate to see one of them go.
but he's a beauty anyway and he loves to play :D
and last but not least... our neighbour's cat called Puma... he's sleeping in our beds regularly and our food seems to be okay as well XD
he's very impressive, don't you think? :D
