Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica
Hi everybody! Just a note to say I just want to apologize for not being as active right now. Someone actually hired me! Can you believe it? So I don't have as much time to fix my game as I would like.
My game was having a crash-a-polooza and I couldn't figure out why. I think some files were corrupted with compressorizer but I can't pinpoint which file, or files as it seems to be (and of course I didn't back up my stuff before I compressorized...). So I decided to just re-download everything, and categorize them in nice little neat LivLukas-esque piles. And it's taking forever. The cool thing is that I'm finding a lot of stuff that I previously missed and I'm actually enjoying downloading and putting everything in orderly fashion (crazy much?). But it is taking a heck of a long time.
As soon as that's all done and I make sure my game works, I'll be back with more of Oceanside. And then I decided that I'm going to do a proper uberhood using the pre-mades. I'm still going to do them in my weird timeline (centered around Cassandra as a teen) but it will use the real EAxis towns. I have this great idea of sticking Magic Town in Veronaville where Fairies, Fortune Tellers, Witches, Plantsims, and Bigfeet can live together in harmony. And turning Strangetown into an alien-themed tourist trap Lucky Palms Casino town. I have so many ideas and not enough time!
Now that I'm so organized I hope to put up a resources page. I really want to say thank you to the cc makers out there. My game is so pretty because of you. I hope you know you are appreciated! I also want to put up some of the houses I made for Oceanside when everything is working right. Oh and I took a bunch of the promo images from thesims2.com before it's demise. I'm hoping to stick them on tumblr pretty soon.
