Impressive episode. This season certainly isn't stopping for breath.
Franklin's batshit crazy over Tara and the writers are using this to actually give Tara strength? I'm cool with that. I liked her trying to turn things to her advantage and I hope she's able to prize herself away from Franklin before he kills because he's certainly obsessive enough to try it.
I got the impression that Debbie want to help Alcide and then saw red when seeing Sookie. Debbie is a lot more interesting here than in the books but then again, so is Alcide. I'm liking the partnership between him and Sookie.
However I knew that Russell were going to set Bill up so that he would lead them directly to Sookie/Alcide. And Sookie did that electro-glowy thing again. I can't wait to see where the writers go with that one again.
Props to the Lorena bashing in this episode - Bill calling her a cow, Eric's look of contempt, Talbot excluding her, etc. Definitely want her off my screens.
So was Russell responsible for the death of Eric's family? i could've sworn he was the man in the cloak with the werewolves? And he made sure that Talbot made sure that Eric saw a crown. Very interesting.
Sam needs to get rid of his nasty folks and soon. Tommy on the other hand, continues to improve as a character. Really liked the banter between him and Jessica. Arlene's still a bitch though.
Jason and Crystal, I can see where this one is going and I'm cautious about it. I hope in spite of blackmailing his way ahead that Jason is actually cut out to be a cop.
Lafayette and Jesus, definitely more please, 9/10.
