Well, as you know I have been a faithful, albeit somewhat disappointed Glee viewer. I agree with your assessment of how they handled Beiste's transition. I mean, they even called an episode 'Transition' - perfect opportunity to address it with care as you say, but they talked about most every transitioning topic outside of the obvious. Then they bring Unique back for that ep, who is so much as written off the show at this point. IDK, these writers with cast members in and out of the show for no apparent reason drives me nuts. Anyway, aside from the poor writing, implausible explanations for people's presence where they don't belong, and characters flitting in and out of town /school, the last 2 episodes have been better than the past years worth. Glad Kurt and Blaine came to their collective senses too.

Sorry for the rant ;)

Watched Scandal all in one fail swoop. I never watched it before because (well frankly because I was annoyed with abc) Excellent show, but all seasons in the span of a couple weeks was overkill. Esp Olivia Pope who I adore, but equally am annoyed by when she just screams expecting that high decibels will get her whatever she wants. Favorites are Huck, and very intrigued by the Cyrus / Michael debacle. Well, they are all actually pretty good, but I find myself more interested in supporting cast than watching Oliva and Fitz act like teenagers. I'll keep watching though. Its quite entertaining. Have you watched How to get away with murder? OMG. That show has got it all. Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) could kill Olivia Pope with a single stare. LOL!

Nice catching up with your posts. Great as always,

Beiste's transition literally came out of nowhere, that was the main problem with the story. Dot Marie Jones though was wonderful but stories like these need proper build up and we got none of that here. The wedding episode was excellent though. Need to catch up with episode 10.

Scandal moves at a very sharpish pace but it's definitely entertaining. The Fitz/Olivia/Jake triangle is tedious though but I've grown to dislike Jake and Fitz so that might be it for me really. Huck is a brilliant character and the Cyrus/Michael plot has been interesting.

I absolutely love How To Get Away With Murder. I've actually done reviews/recaps for every episode of Season 1 here ....

Thanks again. I'm also gonna start watching Empire as well.

Oooh, thanks for the link. Interesting read. I agree with the majority of your assessment. The Oliver/Conner story line was indeed the least fav. I love them and think Oliver adds a depth and heart to Conner that he otherwise wouldn't have, but the HIV + was cliche at best. I hope it doesn't result in the demise of a wonderful supporting character.

Michaela who never impressed me early on, brought it in the finale. Now I love her.

Annalise - The only thing I'm unsure of is whether Annalise is aware of Franks involvement in Lila's murder. I wasn't under the impression she was. In either case, I hope she's 'cool' with it (poor Lila) cause I dont want Frank to go anywhere.

Really, this show is probably one of the best cast shows I've ever seen now that I've gotten to know the characters. Almost every show I watch has at least one person I can do without, but here they are so talented and interesting. Even Asher, who is a goofball, adds that comic relief that noone else can add to the show.

Conner is one of my favs. What can I say? Smart, fun, and gorgeous. Frankly I like the whole cast. The only one I could take or leave was Rebecca. (so that worked out...) Hope they keep the momentum for season 2. I dont log on all the time anymore, so I wasn't aware you were reviewing this show. I'll have to watch for future posts.

You left me loads of comments on my blogger - thanks, some great thoughts there and loads I agree with too. Glad you enjoyed the show as much as I did. I am hoping the consistency will be there for Season 2 as well.

Of course; I had fun reading the blog and re-familiarizing myself with the sequence of events since the show is so non-linear and I only watched each ep. once. I was happy to see the blog and your thoughts as well as the summary since I currently know NO ONE who watches this. Though, I've no idea why. It's a good time. A category of show that few fall in. Have a nice weekend Db, :)
