DaVinci's Demons - The Blood Of Man

Solid opening episode. I wasn't expecting the brief flashforward to South America with DaVinci and Riario bonding in a cell before about to be sacrificed but it was an interesting move nonetheless and we did get to see Ima briefly.

I still couldn't care less about DaVinci and Lucrezia as a couple, so the dream sequences and stuff like that didn't really do it for me at all.

Actually Lucrezia didn't do a great deal in this episode except be terrorized by her cousin and thrown into the ocean with Zoroaster.

Interesting that Riario spared Nico though.

The fallout with the Pazzis was okay enough stuff, nice to see the continuity there but aside from the Clarice bits and DaVinci doing his own blood transfusion to save Lorenzo, I wasn't too bothered with it.

Al Rahim really is just there to be cryptic at the wrong moments, isn't it?

Whoever is coming out as a force for the Book Of Leaves seems interesting enough.

The Pope and Lucrezia's father, I quite liked their scene together in this one.

Some nice scenes with Vanessa, Dragonetti, Andreas and Piero as well but Lorenzo wanting to kill DaVinci after being saved by him, well that was kind of tedious, 7/10
