Just watched the second episode, bit of an improvement on the first one. Less gratuitous sex as well, which probably helped a bit and some great moments as well.
I liked Nico being clever enough to outwit Riario and his men by letting them open up that exploding chest and I certainly enjoyed every scene with DaVinci and Riario as well. More of them please.
Lucrezia showed some feisty behaviour with her scenes but we do need a bit more on her as well. I get that she does seem to care about DaVinci and Lorenzo and it's obvious that she's not helping Riario of her own volition but again more development.
Same with Clarice as well, who's been pretty underused so far as well, surprisingly enough.
Great scenes with DaVinci proving his loyalty to Medici by getting the muskets to work against Riario and his men and I like that there are some interesting enough twists and turns with the Book Of Leaves saga too.
This show's still not amazing but it's watchable and interesting enough, 7/10
