Being Human - The Last Broadcast

Well, that was an interesting finale, wasn't it?

Nice that Alex being trapped in her grave, Hal's vampire recruiting and him and Tom scrapping in the pub was dealt with rather quickly too.

The broadcast stuff reminded me a little of Russell Edgington on True Blood but it had the same desired effect.

Out of all the episode, Hatch has been in so far, this was his best one for Phil Davis. The mafia look was interesting and so was the tempting of our trio.

Hal's Orsha scenes were nicely realised with Leo but seeing as we didn't actually see who recruited him, I'm still convinced it was Mr Snow.

Alex and her father's scenes were lovely too. I can see where Alex gets her sharp humour from.

I really wanted Tom and Allison's fantasy to be true. He looked so happy at the idea of being a father and having her.

As for the actual defeat of Hatch - did it happen or not? Are the gang now human or just trapped in Hatch's alternative reality?

It could be both or neither but I want to be optimistic and think that they won, became human, etc, though I accept the possibility that Hatch might have outsmarted them.

Rook was kind of underused in the finale and only became useful when the gang performed the ritual properly but other than that, this was a perfect if ambiguous ending for a brilliant series.

Hal, Tom and Alex, you've been brilliant and thanks for the mention of Mitchell, George, Annie and Nina as well, 10/10.
