Doctor Who - Closing Time

I really enjoyed that to be honest. Okay, this show really does need to write an episode where the Cybermen are proper menaces because apart from a modern update on the Cybermats, they served very little purpose to the overall episode itself.
I loved the Doctor and Craig in this one. Every bloody scene they had just sparkled so much and I loved that they helped each other in their own ways.

The Doctor got Craig to be a more confident father and Craig showed the Doctor that not everyone blames him when things hit the fan. I think that was much needed to be honest.

I thought the gay jokes were rather amusing and Val was the only interesting supporting character we had.

Too bad we didn't get any more of Sophie but maybe we'll see her and Craig again one day.

The last ten minutes of this episode were just wow - I loved that the stetson/envelopes came from Craig, the thoughts of the kids as they saw the Doctor walking to his death, all excellent stuff.

The River and Kovarian stuff with the Silents and the Astronaut made too much sense to be an actual shocker but it was such an effective scene nonetheless.

Loved the brief appearance of Amy/Rory and the fact that former became a model. I see no problem with it.

Next week looks seriously bonkers, 9/10.
