A pedophile, rescuing a Toddler from a "plague ship": Enough said. They should have him dress as a Clown like the Violator from Spawn.
As Qwen was ten seconds away from buying it, I'm with Rex: Thank you would be nice, and REALLY? Was the Villian telling the enemy his entire plot before Killing them!! He's dead. To quote Billy Crystal: Go through his pockets look for loose change -- for the meter--. Maybe nicking his his phone and car keys would tell them more. I'm could get to like Rex, although for me, just the fact that this man is gunning to take down people, although he knows it means his death was enough to make him sympathetic. They didn't need the overused Father issue bit. Rex and Esther are really the new Tosh and Owen, although to be fair, Tosh was NEVER that naive. The Rex/Jack rivalry was old by the second installment. To both of them_- Get over it. At this point: I just do not care what The Torchwood Team are doing, including Jack and Gwen.
On the good side--almost-- they got rid of that Dead Is Dead lady much too soon! I was loving that, as it was finally a subplot one could sink one's teeth into and gave us great scenes. Noticed in the previews they have revamped Gwen's solo speech from COE. Uh-huh.
I tried to guess who was behind the voice for "Triangle" group, but got nothing. Eve cleans up well, as one of those Posh, business types.

Oswald is both boring me as a villain and making my flesh crawl. Jilly on the other is far more interesting a character.
Rex and Esther are the new Owen/Toshiko - oh definitely.
Eve did look beautiful in this episode but the American accent was terrible, though I think it was meant to be.
