What I'm doing next couple of years is a University certificate in Web Applications Development. I'm doing this via the Open University which is a distance learning university that was established in the late sixties. It's ideal for people who want to further their education but are unable to go into full time study due to work or family commitments. I've picked up a little web knowledge, but you probably know more than me about things like style sheets and that. You get to learn things like VBsvript, ASP, Coldfusion, how to have a database within a web application, use of open source development tools (CVS and PHP) and lean about firewalls and proxy servers.
I'm getting a little fed up and stale where I am at the moment and would like to more into the "web" side of programming but don't possess the skills at the moment. Unfortunately, Mr Warlock is with doubt the worlds worst student and spent most of his time when he was at university pretending to be a rock star and drinking himself to death.
