I still read the good ol' LJ from time to time, but mainly for using the communities rather than for friends' social networks; that all seems to have been swallowed up by Facebook these days.
Haha, true! Last time, you were about to jet off to America and I was moving to Cardiff (2006). I'm actually back in Cardiff again, having moved back down here for the other half to do a Master's in child psychology. I was in London for the previous 4 years since that's where most of the IT jobs in the country are and I had a few friends down there. I had a really good time there and made lots of good friends but the place was just too expensive, impersonal and crowded so the University degree came at a good time. So are you still in America these days?
No I'm in London, came back from America in 2010. I agree with you about the expensive and crowded part! Not sure where I'll end up, perhaps Italy. Here for 2-3 more years though.
Ah, there we go then! Whereabouts in London? I was living in the north, near Holloway Road. Not a bad area; easy to get to nice places like Hampstead Heath and Highgate.
