Uncle Red
My Uncle Red passed away on Wednesday after a battle with prostate cancer. This was'nt his first battle with cancer. And this time it had spread into his bones. Having a medical background, he knew that meant that his chances of survival were slim and he didn't want to spend his last months undergoing painful treatments that he knew would leave him sick and weak. He faced death with a grace and bravery that I will admire for the rest of my life. His passing has left a huge hole in my heart. He was truly one-of-a-kind.
