Consumers is Awsome
Today has been pretty good so far. I'm loving my new job at Consumers. I'm not really doing all the stuff that i will be since i havent officially started my training, but i'm doing a good part of it.
This morning was sweet. Amanda Green stopped by my cubicle and asked if i wanted to go on a field check with her - i could be the navigator, lol. Ofcource i said yes. It was a house with a meter on the inside that needed to go on the outside and we had to check where the gas line could run and where the new meter could be placed on the extierior of the house. It was a house down in Royal Oak by 13 Mile. This morning brought a buncha snow and Amanda was a bit worried about the drive, but felt confident because of her new car. We took her new Jeep Liberty that had - 4 wheel drive - woohoo. Though, it was very nice. It was huge on the inside. There was like half a foot before my head could touch the top of the car. Very Spacious. So that was fun.
Later on, after i already ate my lunch that i packed, someone brought in some a buncha KFC for everyone. That was a very nice surprise. So i grabbed a buncha biscuits and some chicken and had a very merry 2nd lunch break. Then i had more work to do. Calculations. Then filing all the permits and jobs. Just now finished up and dont have anything that has to be done now, so here i am. Big Fun
PS: I brought in some speakers to plug into my computer so i can listen to music too. Sweet!
PPS: Tomorrow is going to be so cool. I was informed that i'm going to get to tag along on an all day field project. It's on the distributive side rather than service, so it probably wont be residential. So, around 9:00am tomorrow i'ma gonna be putt'n on me yellow consumers hard-hat agian and going to oversee a crew. Sweet!
