I'm enjoying this string of series very much, by the way. I think you've done an excellent job capturing each character and each chapter blends with the last seemlessly.
I don't read many Riley fics because most of the ones I come across either bash the character of Riley or are so badly written as to be unrecognizable as Riley Finn to me.
Thanks for your kind words! I started writing as a reaction to a fic where it mentioned Spike being abused by Riley in the Initiative, and I just didn't believe it. He was a bit narrow-minded at the start of his arc in canon, but he showed he could learn and change, in the right circumstances. Just as Spike did.
Have you read Eliade's short Spike/Riley fic? That's very lovely - as is all her work.
*nods* I'm pretty sure I know which fic you're referring to and you're not the only one who had such a reaction to it. I couldn't get past the first few paragraphs of it because it was so appalling.

If you've never read any of her stuff, boy are you in for a treat - unless you hate Xander ... Her S/X fic "Subtleties" is one I read over and over, and Sidelines is pretty cool - but everything she writes is just so perfect, I can't pick one.
