How evil are you?

Well, it has been quite some time since I've updated. Classes are going well and I just handed in my last paper for comp II today (11 pages, whew). It has been a rather stressful week. I have a presentation on my research (a hydrogen-based economy) tomorrow, a lab to finish for today, a mid-term in semiconductors on thursday, and a mid-term in networks and systems on the subsequent thursday.

What sucks is the first mid-term counts as 45% of my grade, and the final is another 45%. Homework is 10%. That doesn't leave much room for error :(. I just wish I had more time to study. I'm not as worried about electrical networks...the exam in there is woth 30%, and I have more time for it. The questions are less open-ended as well.

Heather and I are doing great, as usual. We keep creeping closer and closer to being together for a year - the longest I've ever had a relationship (the same for her). It really is a great feeling :).

So yeah, today my parents are stopped by since they were on the way back from St. Augustine. They decided to buy a different house, even though the one they planned on was being built. I asked my mother how they got out of the deal - I would think it would be difficult to all of the sudden say "Oh, well I don't want to pay for the house you are building for me anymore, I want that cheaper pre-built one on a larger lot and for a lower price." Well, somehow my dad did it. He sure has some skills when it comes to getting his way. I guess around 25 years in retail will do that for you.

The new home is already build, and architecturally identical to the other one. A few minute differences exist, such as a different colored carpet and things like that, but they are happier with the new one. Besides, it cost about $30k less, for a LARGER lot, already built, brand new, and in a better location.
