So yea, it's my birthday today, 19, just one scary step closer to twenty, hehe.
Only a year left of my teens, then I get to be a childish twenty-something instead..wow...
Anyway, yea, today I was online until 6am, it was kinda cool 'cos I had Gambit from X(r)evolved, who turned 23 today, and we were being really childish 'cos we were so amused that we share a birthday.. I mean *really* childish, it was great.
I opened my cards and present pretty much as soon as it hit twelve ^_^;;
My mum bought be Sims 2 University, which is brilliant, only I only have Sims one. She asked about it and I said it was ok, I'm not gonna ruin her uber-funky birthday present with that, I'll just go out and buy Sims two, no biggie, rock on mummy, rock on ^_^
It was kinda depressing not getting any post on my birthday, perils of a Sunday I suppose, but that's ok ^_^
My housemate and his girlfriend got me a card, which they didn't write until today, 'cos they couldn't remember which day it was, which was sweet of them, and Coco sent me an E-card and said we'd have to go shopping for a present, yey ^_^
I had a cake (bought myself, how sad) and some candles, which Jenny (aforementioned housemate's girlfriend) lit for me and sang happy birthday, so that was cool, and it was nice (just got an angel cake, yummy)
I've got about £30 in cards and stuff, so that'll do for alkeyhol tonight, hehe.
My brother's coming down, which is really cool, and he's taking me and Coco out - she's kinda the only friend I know well enough to invite on a night out, and I don't know where Mel and Becky (housemates) are or I'd invite them too, since there's space in the car to get there, but oh well..
It's gonna be good fun anyway ^_^
I was asleep most of the morning, y'know being as I didn't go to bed 'till six, lol, but I kept getting woken up this morning by phone calls from the family - though I had a very amusing one at about three O'clock in the morning from my drunken brother and his equally drunken friends, including one who declared me his future wife, but he's attractive so that's ok, lol ^_^
He rang again this morning to say a proper happy birthday and stuff (my brother, not his mate).
I got up about one-ish, and ended up playing monopoly and Cluedo with my housemates, it was good fun and I might go back to play again since there weren't many people online.
All in all so far it's been a pretty good birthday, I mean it's kinda hard not being at home surrounded by my best friends and all, and there was one MAJOR downer today that I'm not going to mention, but it's not been bad and it's gonna be cool tonight as well...
