What's all this crap I keep hearing about bugs? Aren't there any pesticides around here?

New here, huh? A few days ago a bunch of bug Pokemon went completely nuts, attacking everything that was moving. Don't think pesticides would've been of much help. [and using those on Pokemon would be unethical, right?]

There are 'bug Pokemon?' How many of them are there to cause such a big problem?

[Ed has yet to see a bug Pokemon. He's thinking about normal-sized bugs you find in your backyard...]

Yeah! And trust me, loads of exploding pinecones and huge dragonflies can cause trouble.

Exploding pinecones, I can understand. Though it sounds ridiculous.

Huge is kind of a relative term. How big is huge for a dragonfly? Ten, fifteen centimeters?

More like... one meter?

One meter?!

[Ed looks down at Aurum (his Pichu. I finally got a name for him!!) and frowns.]

Next thing I know, there's going to be dragons flying around and burning us to ashes...

[...man, Ed, you always hit the nail on the head, don't you? But let's not start on dragons and focus on Pokemon.]

--They have Dragon-type Pokemon here, too.
