[Today, the beautiful sands of Olivine City's beach (as well as anyone watching the feed) have the pleasure of bearing witness to a truly exciting and fierce fight taking place in its waters:

[Yeah, that was just dumb. Disheartened by the lack of results, Blue turns around and swims back to the shore to meet his trainer, namely Crow. He doesn't seem surprised at all, and lets out a sigh.]
That wasn't a good idea, huh?
[Blue agrees silently, allowing himself to drift aimlessly for a moment, disappointed with his performance. Noticing that, Crow quickly corrects himself:]
Don't worry, it'll go better next time! I believe in you!
[How sincere that statement was is up for debate, but the Magikarp appears to have regained some of his self-esteem and heads off to face the wild fish once again.]
... Guess it's good he's back to his non-crazy self, huh?
[Another loud splash comes from a different direction, and the camera turns to show a Psyduck happily bathing in a lifebuoy.]
I was under the impression Psyducks can swim--
[He doesn't get to finish the sentence, as a sudden flash of light behind him draws his attention. When it fades, Crow and the network are greeted by...]
... Holy shit. [That's the most intelligent comment Crow can come up with, it seems, and it doesn't exactly give Blue a boost of confidence, so he lowers his head in shame over being so huge and ugly now.]
--Whoa, no, wait! It's good you evolved! Good!! [This desperate attempt at comforting the Pokemon, complete with a lot of flailing makes the Gyarados a little happier (in case you can't tell, since given his species, he's kinda stuck with a "D8<" face) and splashes water all around.
That includes on Crow.
... Isn't he the luckiest trainer in the entire Johto?]
