i'm going to outline my response as well.

1. i totally agree- when you can't shake someone or punch them in the face- you make a vague yet direct lj entry. or of course- if you're feeling philosophical. :)

2. well you know how i feel about the competitive thing. i'd take up too much room going into that.

3. school is horrible. everyone is flat out fake or thinks they are real. that's why we only spend time with people we want to. or we try to. yeah- now i have my license + my chad. so don't worry about that. oh + you know you can always turn to me. <3

4. other people don't quite graps the intensity of our relationship. they only see us doing normal "best friend" things. they don't see the incredible connections we make or the selflessness we both have when it comes to the other. how many adults do you know that do this: + we understand that not everyone will agree on everything. so instead of arguing, we discuss why we disagree, + actually find it interesting to hear the other's point of view. not many. but that's all well and good. i almost don't want them to know. it's something we both will know we have and that's good enough for me. i love you to death. + you are my [insert better term than best friends here]. <3

5. i can hear you saying that one. anyway- it will all come with maturity. apparently, as HS juniors + seniors, they still haven't reached that point. disappointing but there's not much you can do about it.

6. all so true. we are spreading that to a bunch of crazy fifth grade boys now. and sometimes it's hard to believe it ourselves. but you'll persevere. you always do.
