A Little Explanation
Alright I figure it is about time to clear up a question that seems to be popping up quite a bit for me. Darken Destinies is dedicated to Darken Rahl, the King of D’Hara from both Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth as well as the Legend of the Seeker incarnation of him.
This community is meant for the enjoyment of the fans for both incarnations, and the ones that combind both of them (which is what I myself am more fond of). This question has only been asked once or twice, but I think it should be answered now before we get underway.
The current layout of the community is using the Legend of the Seeker incarnation for it’s colouring and header image. In future I will try to create other layouts with the books’ ideal of Darken Rahl. This will require some work, but it can be done. So if you do not like the current layout because you prefer the correct image of Darken Rahl, with the golden hair and flowing white robes, fear not, you will get what you desire at some point. For the time being, it was just far more simple to use what I had at my disposal.
You are more than happy to debate why you prefer one version over the other (but please follow the rules, this means no flame wars or TeXt SpEeCh, please and thank you). After all we all have our own reasons.
Also, when posting anything such as fictions or artwork, please keep it fairly tame. I realise that this community is marked as adult concepts, but I think with this character in any of his incarnations you can understand the logic behind that choice. At least follow the rules by posting the rating in the headline (and yes this is again where your own judgement comes into play.) and place under a cut.
