I did this to myself.
I chose a double major, and therefore passed over the opportunity to audition for the BFA. I should be happy to see my fellows audition and take the classes that I, as a BA, am barred from. All I can think about it how I want to take those classes. Sadly, I can't be the theatre department's bitch, and take classes they decide at the time they allot for me.
I love my art classes. I don't want to drop the major that is bringing me so much joy and unlocking so many doors. But Theatre has always come first. It seems like people look at BAs as "terrible until proven worthy". Even the professors.
So...I suppose I need to prove myself.
Good. That's what I'll do then.
