Carbon dating my wardrobe
The other day Oprah had a show about people hanging on to stuff forever with a lady who had undies from the 80's. I don't know how old the ones I am wearing today are, but I can guess on the rest.
Today is a shlep around the house day so I wear whatever is clean and comfy in spite of its age.
Item: Faded Mickey tee shirt dug from the bottom of a bureau drawer. Christmas gift from a friend when I lived in previous apartment. So its about 14 year old
Item: Flannel cow print jammie pants. Christmas gift from another friend before she had her kids, so they are about 10 years old.
Item: Sweat jacket bought when I bought stuff for my last New York trip back in 2003. Probably the youngest thing I am wearing.
Item: Slippers that are probably 5 years old.
