We got our first truly bad news about the house today. Apparently Carpenter Ants have started an invasion. I would never have noticed the solid steady line of them working their way up the wall and into the attic if he hadn’t put down the bright colored “bait” that made it really apparent. Treatment starts on the 8th. Oy. I hope that we got to this in time. They came from a tree out front, which now that we look, has holes bored through it. :p
