Hello, how are you....
I smell. You know why?!?!
I went to WARPED TOUR today. :D
It was fantastic!!! I got to go with my Emmy and my Hannah and I got to see zacharee which is always a fantastic addition to any day.
So, I downed two bottles of water BEFORE we got there and I had a third before our first band played, but I didn't really eat much of anything so... by the time we got through the last five songs of the Early November, Hellogoodbye, and the MIDDLE of The Academy Is... set, I was dying.... well, almost passing out. Which is definitely no good. A bonus added to The Academy Is's set was that zach was helping set up so Hannah and I got to yell things at him from the crowd... like "you suck at crossword puzzles!" which is always nifty. In all honesty tho... I felt like such a pussy... I only made it halfway through the set, when Hannah and I left, I was almost crying because it was my first time seeing them live and I didn't want to miss the rest of their set! And, I'm a veteran, taht should not have happened... i was disappointed in myself...
After that round of loveliness, I had the pleasure of seeing the Audition kick some major ass and then Hannah and I caught up with Gym Class Heroes (yay Cupid's Chokehold!) and after that headed over to meet Emmy at The Classic Crime's set, which also rocked.
Then it was Motion City Soundtrack all the way and I cannot tell you how much fun their shows are... they're fantastic. Not to mention I lost a shoe crowd surfing... thanks to certain friends of mine! But God that was a rush! I actually lost two shoes and then Hannah found one... it's possible the other one actually wound up on stage. I will say it was slightly awkward flashing the crowd tho... that's what I get for wearing a short skirt to Warped!
I got sunburned, I got merch, I met Butcher from TAI, I got a guitar pick from TAI (both of those were courtesy of zacharee, cuz he's handy like that)
I love shows, I love bands, I love meeting people and doing crazy things and just... the entire concert scene!
Hannah (and partially I) made a business contact for our radio show at the His Rock show on Friday. Fifth Window High (they have a myspace, check them out). They have a unique sound, which is refreshing and they rock out loud. While you're checking them out... go check out Nate and His Kite. It'll make kittens purr.
I hope everything here works out. I'm still nervous, but that's what I do. I'm nervous and I worry. It's habit, it's not cool.

Now, I'm tired and I'm going to bed, and I love you guys all soo much, and I want to try to do a get together at my house before I/we all leave for school, but I think I may be first, we (hannah and i) leave the 18th... soon!
