It's nice having so many grandparents.
Completely narcissistic, self-pitying list of Why I was Different as a Child:
I never had a Skip-It.
I only had two Polly Pockets, and not a Polly Pocket house--just a see-saw.
I never knew how to do the Electric Slide.
On the radio I only listened to late 1950's music.
Never watched the Simpsons.
Or South Park.
Only Jewish kid in my class--everyone else, except the Asian kids and the one boy from Guyana, were Italian Catholic. Because it was Bensonhurst.
Past first grade, I never brought my lunch to school.
