Cool shit that happened today
- My designs were accepted (with a few revisions) for this months The Gallery, Stirling Sotheby's publication.
- I made huge signs that will be displayed roadside for some condos in Lake Mary
- (Yesterday) the gorgeous guy that sits behind me at work noticed my darker hair the second I walked in the door
- (Yesterday) the big boss lady looked over my work with an assertive expression before glancing up behind her glasses to say "I like your style".
- We are watching Elizabethtown after I return from the gym
- I have decided that if I have to move out I will force myself to afford a nice apartment downtown
- I got three new pairs of pants. Well, they aren't new - I just realized I could finally wear them. One of the pairs is fondly remembered by my roommate from middle school.

Congratulations! You won one (or more!) awards in the Student Division in the recent 19th Annual Florida Print Awards competition! Three industry experts from Indiana, Maryland and Pennsylvania deliberated for 2 days to give each entry careful consideration. The judges were impressed with the quality of pieces and were dedicated to fairness and impartiality. They carefully selected the winners from among 198 entries submitted by 19 Florida schools. The winner(s) submitted are listed below

We encourage you to mark your calendar and make plans to join us to receive proper recognition at the Florida Print Awards Banquet on Saturday, July 29 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. That's where your award(s) will be presented. (Please note that there is an $85 fee per person to attend the banquet. We will extend the PAF member price to students and their families or guests on all of the Print Management Conference events)
Last year, many of the student winners joined us with their instructors and their families to celebrate with the top printers in the state of Florida. We encourage you to take advantage of this networking opportunity to sit alongside Florida’s top printers as we honor industry excellence, Florida style.
Don't miss the excitement of this year's presentation, which showcases the winning pieces and announces whether they've won the Best of Category, Award of Excellence, or Judges’ Honorable Mention.
The judges also singled out an entry to receive a “Best of Show, Student Division” trophy to be presented to the student whose efforts were exemplary in their divisions. Could you be the trophy winner? Join us on July 29 to find out. Details about the Florida Print Awards
Banquet and the PAF Print Management Conference are available on our web-site, www.pafgraf.org on the downloads page. Students are eligible for the PAF member rate for all of the events.
