(no subject)
Well as of yesterday. Her temp went from 101 to 96 and her blood pressure dropped from her normally high blood pressure of 170/80 to 80ish/40's and she is no longer helping the respirator to breathe. it is doing it by it's self. her pupils are fix at 8 (what ever the number is). in basic terms Her body is shutting down. she looks very peaceful and resting. the EEG shows that her brain waves are starting to detierate. We decided DNR (do not ressucate). I have made my peace with my mom and feel good about it. I am no longer sad but in a way happy for her. Most of her life she suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure. she has always been a fighter, but now she needs to rest. I know she will be happy where-ever she goes. I am looking for plane tickets back home. I know i probally wont be here when she departs. We are thinking cremation is our plan for I know she wanted that. So I might have another housemate next to my Dad.
