You know, in 30 yrs time when you have a debate with someone, that will be the same answer you get, just phrased differently.

yeah, i know. but i kind of love it. it shows that they really do have faith. it's kind of cool to see everybody closed minded about the whole subject because i can always rely on everyone giving the same answer when it comes to their faith. they might add or detract from some of their values and what not, but the main idea usually remains the same

so what makes you the religous king. no one has the right to tell others their beliefs are wrong. so what if she was taught. what if now she truley believes in it and it helps her to better her own life. that is what religion is for. yes the bible is stories but they are stories of hope and inspiration, that tell people " you know if you do the right thing, and believe in god and jesus, that things will work out". just becuase you are so avidly against it you try to put others down ( ... )

well, i know that i'm not a religious king. because i'm a chick so i'd be the queen. j/k. i don't follow religion at all, was never really into it. i wasn't telling her it was wrong or bad, and i'm definitely not against any religion what so ever. in fact, i love it. because no matter how blind it can make some people, at least they have faith in something. the saddest thing ever is a person w/ no faith. i wasn't putting her down, i was just in a bitchy mood and in the mood for arguing, so that's what we did. most of the time i just leave everyone's opinions and beliefs alone, but i was just in that mood. she did the same only worse. she actually did put my beliefs down and straight out told me "no, they're wrong. if you don't follow god you're going to hell." and etc. i was simply stating that the only reason she believed in god was because that's how she was raised. i never said there was anything bad or wrong about it. just trying to make a point to her. besides, it was her, not i who called it brain wash ( ... )
