Well, with the cancellation of the new series, I get to play a bit. So, I was faced with how the hell to integrate the new series, to form into my alt-universe, and be able to work with the new series.
If you want a sneaky peaky into some of the musings of lil' ol me...
Danni and Kitt hid behind the thatch of trees at the hill at the end of the Testing Grounds. The helicopter was hunting them, it was hovering over the ocean. Smoke was pouring out from under Kitt’s hood, they had taken some damage. Danni was struggling to stay awake from the multiple gunshot wounds she had taken.
“This is it.” Kitt stated. “His force field is weakened, and his shell can be eliminated by encountering mine.”
Danni nodded once.
“What the hell is she doing?” Michael asked as he and Bonnie watched from a remote distance via the Testing Grounds cameras, in the back of a limo.
“I think they are about to make their last stand.” Bonnie uttered.
“Kitt’s damaged, so is Danni, they…” Michael stopped as he realized what was going on. He looked away, and swallowed.
“It’s the only way we will have some peace.” Bonnie noted.
“It’s been a hell of a ride.” Danni breathed.
“The feeling is mutual.” Kitt replied. “I am glad to have done it with you.”
Danni smiled, and then threw Kitt into gear.
The car raced out from behind the trees. The helicopter began to fire upon them with full force. They took on even more damage as they raced up the hill with increasing speed. Malachai kept looking like a hungry hunter, picking down its prey, until they reached the peak of the hill, and then he realized what they were doing.
“Crazy bi…” Malachai uttered as he stopped firing.
Danni reached over and pressed Turbo Boost. In the light of the fading day, Kitt launched his graceful body into the air, on a direct collision course for the helicopter.
Malachai had one last split second to gape in horror just before the prow of the vehicle came through the window of the helicopter and then everything was enveloped in a gigantic explosion.
Michael and Bonnie didn’t need the cameras to see the impact, it could be seen along Los Angeles shoreline for several miles. They held onto each other as they saw the mid air fireball. The cameras showed debris raining down into the water, followed by another huge explosion in the water that destroyed the camera. Michael and Bonnie broke into tears.
“Get us over there, now!” Michael ordered.
