Meniere's + Sinusitus = Hell.
For over 24 hours now, I have been suffering through a joint Meniere's/Sinusitus Attack, that feels like the entire right side of my face is being assaulted with hot ice picks. At first I thought it was a toothache, but after coating my entire mouth in Oragel, and still feeling the pain, and then noticing that it hurt on the outside of my mouth up into my ear and above it, I kinda figured it out.
Tylenol -- Doesn't work.
Chlor-Trimeton -- Makes the pain worse.
Hydrocodone -- Kinda worked...for a little while.
The only relief I am honestly getting: hot compresses and coughing. Yes, coughing. Forcing my sorry ass self to cough so that the sinus pressure is released.
This...is miserable. But as usual, the docs just say 'take Tylenol, use hot compresses, take a few antihistamines'. That is it. I am getting about 15 minutes of sleep between pain sessions. Bleah.
