A shocking predicament [02]

He's dreaming of orchids. Huge, colorful flowers hang over his head. Their fragrant smell is overpowering, and he feels dizzy. He doesn't want to leave the flowers, but something is pulling on him, dragging him away...

He wakes up, still dizzy, and squints at the bright lights in the ceiling. How did he end up here? And where is here? Last thing he remembers is standing in a hospital hallway with that nice young woman, and a doctor telling him --

His heart starts racing in panic. It's not safe! He doesn't know how he knows, but the staff are dangerous. He has to get out of here.

He tries to sit up, and can't. He's tied down to his bed by thick leather restraints. Even his head is constrained, held in place by... something.

He hears a door open, and the same doctor from before enters the room, along with a nurse. This one isn't smiling, thank goodness, but looks rather intimidating all the same. The doctor looks him over briefly before turning to her assistant. "We'll give him one shock, to start. Start the machine, please."

"WHAT?" Caspar shouts, unable to contain himself. The doctor looks down at him again, frowns, and adds, "Make sure he doesn't swallow his tongue."

The assistant moves behind his line of view, leaving Caspar only to yell helplessly, "Stop! LET ME GO!"
