Shiori isn't surprised when she and Nate wind up downtown after somehow getting to the end of the tunnel. The fresh air is a welcome change from the cool, sanitary emptiness of the hospital. She squeezes her husband's hand supportively, clearly worried.
"Nate...we should get home," she says quietly, giving him her other hand to hold as she puts the closest one to him on his opposite shoulder. "We need to rest and get a change of clothes. Shower, get cleaned up. Then we can find Greg and Amber. Okay?" She's quite stunned; she has never seen him like this.
