Slick.
No biking yesterday. We had just enough snowflakes and cool temps to make it very slick out. I had hoped to take the Greenway down to the new bike/ped bridge across Hiawatha, but it just wasn't worth a crash. I stayed home and watched several episodes of Bones instead. I'm finally caught up on the first season and can start last season's episodes. One of Mike's band mates stopped in at the library today and gave us some additional information. He also gave me a couple copies of their CD. We're hoping to add one to the catalog. Skipped the sales today, although I stopped at Best Buy after work hoping to snag a copy of the Anniversary Edition of Labyrinth. Alas, they were all gone.
We enjoyed a ham dinner yesterday and lots of pie. I had a piece, but I'm really not a pie eater. I prefer cupcakes. I did order some Christmas presents on-line last night. I suspect most of my shopping this year will be from my notebook. I'm picking up another item at work tomorrow.
aldebaran8423plans to be working at the Uncles tomorrow, so we should have a fun day. I expect we'll have a busy day with people in town from all over the country. Aah, bookselling, it's the best. Picked up the first volume of George R.R.Martin's Dreamsongs at work today. I own a copy of GRRM A Retrospective, so I should already have most of this material, but it's a lovely volume and I wanted to take a closer look.
