Last night was a lot of fun. My plans for adventuring to emerald square mall included people who did not end up coming, but thats ok. I found extra passengers at ashlee's house when joey and bob came along. I was the driver. then I hit up karen's abode and we were off, and its really easy to get to the mall actually.
First thing we did was go to the food court. ashlee and I got smoothie's but karen wanted a whole dinner, and there was this chinese place that was very convincing because they gave tons of free samples. After seeing what karen got and how good it looked, me, joey and bob also got the chinese food. Then we split up cuz joey and bob just wanted to wander around, while ashlee and karen took me to...6? women's stores. I wasn't really bored though cuz i had a lot of opinions about stuff as to what wouldn't look good. opinions as to what does look good are much harder. i was good at the end though. I picked out one jacket karen liked but it wasn't her size, and two tops that karen really liked except they were hand wash only and she has to stay away from those. I was so close! but ashlee picked up a pair of earings and asked me to find a bracelet to go with them, and i picked out a winning bracelet! she bought it and that made me so happy. each of them also bought an amazing dress. ashlee has a wedding next week she can wear it to, but karen isn't sure where she can wear her dress...but it doesn't matter. they looked so beautiful in them that they had to buy them regardless of where they would wear it. ashlee was so happy we did the little slapping the hands thing and she made a comment about how she loved gay friends...I really didn't appreciate that since we were in a women's store and all, but i knew what she meant. lol.
Then we went into some guys fashion place that was pretty formal so we went to PacSun where it was their turn to pick out stuff for me. Two pairs of jeans, some brown pants, a t-shirt, and two collared shirts I tried on. the brown pants just didn't cut it I think, and they thought the jeans were too stiff and not wrinkled or baggy enough. too bad cuz I do need some jeans, but ashlee thinks american eagle is the place to go. they just didn't have an american eagle at that mall, so thats a trip for another day. I did end up getting one of the collared shirts though cuz I really liked it and karen said without question that i'm buying it. hopefully I can get some more shirts next time, too. finally, I wanted to go to the silver dragon and it was about nine, so I called bob and joey so they could meet us there...and I had typed the number in wrong. so instead of getting to go into silver dragon, at which I was quite sad, we had to look for them in person cuz we had to go. I was quiet on the way home cuz being dark and rainy I needed to concentrate on where the lines on the road were. all in all, I had a lot of fun regardless of what stores we went into.
I have three weeks left before i go while most of you have 5. I hope to do stuff like this as much as possible in the time i have left.
