I made an opinion based off the observations I've been given ; because I cannot be there to whitness or take matters in my own hands, I must rely on the words of others. Well this is definatly an interesting subject.... I am not hear to take anyones sides! Does my opion matter? Probally not... but here it goes.

I think we all need to step back and take a look at the situation for what it is. NON OF OUR BUSSINESS, This is an issue( or maybe there isnt even an issue) that is between Gerry and Seth's Mom. For all we know they could be the 2 happiest people on earth. I think its great that people express concern for these too people.<-- I am not being sarcastic. I really think that all devon was trying to do was express some concern. I understand that she doesn't like Gerry for the fact that he reminds her of her not so good stepfather. It could be possible that some of the things that she is saying are kinda of backed up and a little hot tempered becuase of her step dad. I dont think there is any need for people to begin fighting and saying harsh things over the two people ( gerry and seth's mom) when they could be really happy together. I guess you could say " to each their own".

In the end I think that some people just need to meet Gerry and form their own conclusions.
I mean 5 people could meet a guy and only 2 outta the 5 people would like him , and the other 3 woudnl't all for differnt reasons. <-- kind of a stupid example I know, but its just proves how people are entiled to their own conclusions and opions.. I guess I don't quite know how to word this but I hope both parties do not get offened as I have no side in the matter or much of a say either. God i sound like a HIPPIE LOL

Hi Leah - just wanted to say that your comment made a lot of sense and the people involved should take a minute to realize that. Everyone always butts into other peoples relationships, I am so bad for it, but when it gets down to it. . . judgement is soley based on the couple at hand. I know that nobody likes to be left out when their friends or family members are at stake, but people make their own decision and I think it is important that everyone realizes that the couple - Debbie and Jerry - are both grown adults. Nobody is perfect, nobody can make all the right decisions, and more importantley. . . nobody has the right to tear up their relationship which may lead to better and greater things. They are grown people who can make their own decisions and choices. If these decisions take some time, there is nothing that we can do about it. I feel like Dr. Phil.

You were the first that I talked to about this... You agreed with me. You believed me. Now you're backing out on me? I guess I can't blame you cuz you need to back up your 'significant other'... But, still, that hurts.
You KNOW the fact isn't that he 'reminds me of my ex-stepfather' (which NO ONE even knows what he's was all about and should STOP ASSUMING). The fact is the things Jerry, himself, have done and WHO he is...

I am not backing out on you, i belive everything that you said and say about Gerry is how you see him and feel about him., i am sorry to have made that refernece to your step dad, you are right I dont know the whole situation about that so i will leave that be.
