we fought the battles
one after the other.
killing the enemy
and best of all
endangering our lives.
but knowing we could never
be defeated,
the threw ourselves
from one dangerous situation
to the next.
when it was bloody
when we were the only good guys
left in the world
you told me never to worry.
and so i was strengthened enough
to push you on.
and together
we accomplished the impossible.
with Him behind us.

this was reality.
it is reality.
there is always a war
being fought
for our souls.
and sometimes, God let's us see it.
but its more real
than the relity we see
with our eyes.
whether we choose to acknowledge it
or not.
we are precious enough
to Him
to start a war
over our hearts.
