I dunno... Alfons doesn't seem like he'd have that good of a constitution to start with, so too much rocket fuel could definitely fuck with his lungs a little. I mean, just a bit of it would make his eyes water and nose burn. Imagine years of it? It'd burn his lungs right up until they started to dissolve, practically.
