Pet Resurrection

just woke up from this crazy dream where I was at this odd indoor pool, and my psychology proffessor from ccri was there and a few other people (it was like the people there were changing, or coming and going). at some point my cat, cagne was there and fell in the pool (which reminds me of a dream I had a long time ago about my pool at my house having sharks in it.) and she did not come to the surface. Then my psychology proffessor picked up a brown dog, like a chocolate lab, and threw him in, and he also sank and did not return. We were all convinced that the animals were dead. My professor tried to save them by throwing in florescent lights, and they sank to the bottom and lit up the pool a little bit. It did not help at first but I decided to try to find more of them to light up the pool better. the ones he threw in were long but did not light up the pool much at all. I remember at this point he was very doubtful about saving the pets, saying "they're dead by now, its no use"
I went in to this weird side room, that was carpeted and lit up and I remember something was going on inside but I wasn't sure what because I was preoccupied. I went in this little drawer and in one of the lower shelves was a round hole about two inches in diameter. I stuck my finger in and there were fork things. The forks had buttons on them that caused a light on the side to turn on. I took one, turned on the light, and threw it in the pool. I could see the bottom light up red. I got another fork, turned it on and threw it in. The water was murky and scary and I remember feeling very afraid to fall in. There were schools of insects swimming around and it had the quality of death about it. I remember walking around the pool and it was slippery and dark. By this time I had repeated the process until the water became very clear, and it was almost as if I was underwater with them. I could see the cat and the dog laying next to eachother, contentedly sleeping. The cat woke up! she looked around and noticed the dog, sniffed him, and seemed like she realized she was underwater and jumped out. I think the dog moved a little too, but I was preoccupied by the cat. I was amazed! she seemed a little odd, for she was a cat I thought was dead, and I yelled out, "Ghost cat!!" and I was really happy she was alive, or at least animate.
I went back in the room to get more fork lights, but when I pulled them out they no longer had buttons, or there were no forks with buttons left. I somehow expected that they were all used. I looked around the room and noticed an older, dark skinned woman playing chess by herself. I was looking into the cupboard again and it was now a fridge with little juice boxes inside. I heard her mumble something to herself and then "Do you take a half?" she said to me, and I said "No, I take a whole." and I took a juice box, and went back to the pool. There, I found out that the dog came back out from the water, and my mom was holding him and trying to care for him. I asked if he was ok and she said he was, but he wasn't completely revived, and needed a lot of time. The professor was there still too and I think he wasn't surprised at the whole situation.
