I'm really sick of the way our society is a fucking business. The media, the stores, the people, the way it is so hard to form meaningful relationships because it is not encouraged. People are trying too hard to be alone, to do something that sets them apart from the crowd, and the isolation that this so obviously brings them is a surprise? We need more focus on community projects, collaborations, relationships. We are all art. There is art in all that we do. What if we could all recognize this, and let go of our egos and just create masterpieces together? Would our individual desires get in the way of the project? Have I put money and material gain too far aside? Its still there, and maybe we can use it against itself to try to make it disappear. Can communal art (for the purpose of growth, and learning and not for making any money) be used as a weapon against consumerism?
