After 11 months it seems i have finally won my insurance battle. I spoke to my solicitors (who have been on the case for about a month now) 2 days ago and said they were going to start legal proceedings now after getting no replys to their letters from the other insurance company.
I called them again today to get an update on this and they've told me that yesterday, the other insurance company have said they are sending full payment out for the claim, effectively meaning i've won at last!
Time to get my £450 excess and 2 years no claims bonus back.
