One of those update things
Figured its about time for a general update in here. Not really sur ei feel like going into any great details so i'll just sum up the past few months.
Job: Started working for Optical Express back in July. Same area of work as my old job (optics!) but working retail instead of in a lab now. Enjoying it thus far and its not really you're run of the mill retail job.
Gaming: Up to level 67 in WoW, making a push to get to 70 for some end game things. Also working on Grandia III on my PS2, Forza 2 on my Xbox360 and soon to be UT3 on the PC (pre-ordered!).
Old car: 6 1/2 months after the accident nothing is still sorted yet. The insurance companies are still throwing punches at each other and the legal department for my insurance company has told the other insurance company to settle or go to court. Good on them.
New car: Still running ok for now. Had an issue with the steering knocking on bumps. Turned out to be a joint going. Got it fixed for free under the 6 month warranty (which had about 2 weeks left). Other than that its done nearly 7,000 miles in the last 6 months. Interesting since work is only 3 miles away. Shows how much other random driving i do.
Life: Not much change on this one. Some things are going very well, others aren't too bad and others very bad (or not at all now). Trying not to dwell on the bad things but you know how those things go. Ah well, I tried my best, but it isnt always enough :/.
Short and sweet update for today. I'll see if anything more interesting comes to mind another day.
