Been a while. I just haven't really had much to say. Or rather, I have, but nothing that I felt like coming to the LJ about. I hadn't written in my spiral in a while either, it's funny lol

Please don't make her have to choose between Friends and College. I understand that you guys love her a lot but this isn't about friends or boyfriends. This is about what degree she is going to get, what Master's she can then get from the Bachelor's, and, ultimately, what she is going to do with life. True friends will love each other no matter where they are, so don't put more stress on my sister by telling her how sad you will be if she leaves. If she has truly touched your heart and you hers, then she can LIVE in China and still be there for you. If Brevard the School can't offer her what she needs, then she should go somewhere that will. She can always visit, write, chat, email, whatever. Brevard the Atmosphere, Brevard the Friendships, Brevard the Love is not what she needs to be the deciding factor right now.
If NCSU didn't offer me what I needed, I would sure as hell be in Wilmington because I love the beach, I have friends there, and the campus is absolutely gorgeous. But NCSU has what I need. And it just so happens I like Raleigh a lot, too.
Lisa - I do think you should stay, because you know the teachers, you've got a pretty good idea of what you want to get your Bachelor's in, and you have about 70 credit hours already there that may not all transfer. UNC will be awesome for grad school, or maybe Elon or hell, even BU. If Chris loves you, which I'm pretty sure he does since I never get to see you when you're here (hehe), then he'll understand the decision. Again, true friends can love each other no matter where they are.
Go to UNC (hate hate hate hate - there's my NC State coming in) if you think it will offer you opportunities for majors and minors and awesome classes that Brevard won't give you. Or if you ARE still unsure about the academic path you're on right now. If you have a Bachelor's dead in mind, and Brevard has it - stay there. You're halfway through.
Add to your list of Pros and Cons for each school - academic-wise. Don't worry if you're unsure about majors -- I'm on my second one and I still don't know. But teaching is a nice backup because there are ALWAYS teaching jobs. Maybe get certified to teach elementary music - that was always a fun class. I'm probably getting certified at Wake Tech to teach little kids, too. Then if you go on to grad school, you can teach for college or community college. I'm thinking about that for later, too.
Anywayz, if you need to talk I'm around... duh. And if you come to Raleigh FREAKIN CALL ME AND HANG OUT WITH YOUR SISTER!!!
Gotta concur with the sis on everything, really isn't the place of friends to make Lisa feel guilty. Trust me, in whatever decisions she decides to make she will feel guilty enough on her own without the help of anyone else. So just support her in all possible ways. :)
